Sharing Knowledge, Bridging Gaps
While working as a private tutor to support myself financially, I reflected on what I could do for children who didn't have the same educational opportunities. Recognizing the benefits my students received, I decided to dedicate equal time to volunteering, offering my skills to those who needed them most.
Mentoring in Math and English
As a volunteer mentor, I taught math and English to children facing economic hardships, ensuring they received the support they deserved. The sessions, held twice a week for 2 hours, were designed to make learning accessible and enjoyable, providing the encouragement and guidance often unavailable to them.
Creating Opportunities Through Education
This experience was more than just teaching—it was about leveling the playing field. By balancing my tutoring work with volunteer efforts, I strived to give every child a chance to learn and grow, proving that even small actions can make a significant impact in bridging educational gaps.
