This project aimed to address a common issue in cat care: paw inflammation caused by contaminated litter in traditional litter boxes. To solve this, I developed a UV-C sanitizing cat litter box that sterilizes the litter after each use, ensuring a clean and safe environment for cats.

To guarantee the safety of cats, the litter box was equipped with a dual-layer PIR sensor system, preventing the UV-C sterilization process from activating while a cat is inside. This thoughtful design prioritizes both hygiene and the well-being of pets.

The project was successfully funded on Wadiz, a South Korean crowdfunding platform that supports innovative ideas and products by connecting creators with potential customers. The campaign achieved 567% of its funding goal, enabling product production and demonstrating high demand among pet owners seeking practical, hygienic solutions.
